In the year 1940 Paride Malavasi founded Libreria Malavasi, still operating in Milano, Largo Schuster 1. In 1996 Libreria Malavasi founded Maremagnum, putting on line catalogues from 6 different antiquarian bookshops. Since then Maremagnum.com keep on growing becoming the most important italian web site, and among the most important in the world. In Maremagnum we were the first in the world to offer a new system of selling books to Librarians all over the world. The library can pay just one invoice, after the reception of books, for books coming from 10 or more different European bookstores.
